A typical project flow, summarized in anonymized form: an Amazon seller wants to import a proven accessory product himself instead of buying from EU wholesale — and needs reliable suppliers and marketplace-ready documents to do it.
Starting situation
The seller was already selling the product successfully through an EU middleman whose markup was increasingly eating the margin. On Alibaba there were dozens of seemingly identical suppliers — which of them were real manufacturers with valid test evidence could not be judged from Germany. On top, Amazon requested compliance evidence the existing supplier could not provide.
Approach
We identified the actual manufacturers behind the listings, compared three factories on price, testing history and export experience, and verified the existing test reports directly with the lab. Samples from all three candidates went to Germany consolidated and pre-checked.
For the selected manufacturer we compiled the document package — CE conformity, test reports, GPSR details — and executed a controlled first order with final AQL inspection and FBA-compliant labelling at the factory.
Result
- A significantly better purchase price than EU wholesale — for the identical product from the actual manufacturer.
- Marketplace approval with a complete compliance package — the Amazon request was answered on time.
