Importing Textiles from China — Quality You Can Measure

Apparel, home textiles, bags or promotional textiles: we check fabric quality, workmanship and measurements on site, clarify labelling duties and deliver DDP — from a single product to a full collection.

Typical textile pitfalls

With textiles, there is often a world between the sample and the production run.

Silently reduced grammage

Sample 220 gsm, production 180 gsm — the most common textile trick. Without re-measuring, your customer notices first.

Size charts out of control

Asian cuts, drifting garment measurements and first-wash shrinkage create return rates that eat any margin.

Wrong labelling

Fibre composition and care labels are mandatory in the EU — wrong labels mean legal risk and re-labelling by hand.

How we secure your textile import

Garment makers with references

We find factories with proven export experience and the right specialization — knits are not wovens, sportswear is not workwear.

Samples & pre-production comparison

Lab dips, size sets and pre-production samples consolidated to you — you make colour and fit decisions on the actual product.

Textile-specific AQL inspection

Grammage, size chart, seams, colour match against the golden sample and packaging check — documented with a photo report.

Labelling & harmful substances

EU textile labelling, REACH requirements and, on request, substance testing at an accredited lab before series release.

Common textile import questions

Can you source OEKO-TEX certified goods?

Yes. Many Chinese factories hold OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 — we verify certificate numbers directly in the OEKO-TEX database and, on request, source only from certified factories.

What MOQs apply for garments?

Typical is 300–500 pieces per style and colour; sometimes less with stock fabrics, more with custom fabrics and dyeing. We negotiate MOQs and show alternatives with smaller quantities.

How do you prevent colour deviations between orders?

Through approved lab dips and a sealed golden sample; every reorder is checked against it at final inspection — including colour comparison under standard light.

Inquire about a textile project?

Send a reference product or tech pack — we check suitable factories, prices and MOQs and get back to you within 24 hours.
